At TheVoltr, every item we sell is authentic. That is not a marketing line — it is the foundation of how we operate. We are an independent streetwear retailer, and our reputation depends entirely on the quality and legitimacy of every piece that leaves our store.

This page exists to be completely transparent with our customers about how we source products, what authentication means in the context of streetwear retail, and what to do if you ever have concerns about a purchase.


Our Sourcing Standard

Every product listed on TheVoltr is sourced through legitimate channels. We do not list replicas, counterfeits, or misrepresented items under any circumstances. Our Position on Third-Party Authentication

We are aware that third-party authentication services exist and are widely used across the streetwear market. We respect that customers take their purchases seriously — and so do we.

However, there are important legal and factual realities about authentication that every buyer should understand:

If you require authenticity verification, please note that only the Chrome Hearts brand has the official qualification to conduct authentication. We do not recognize any third-party authentication, as third-party assessments have no legal validity.

TheVoltr is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with Chrome Hearts. We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell, but final authentication can only be done by the official brands.

This means that any certificate, tag, or verdict issued by a third-party authentication platform — regardless of how well-known that platform is — does not carry official legal standing. Only the brands themselves have the authority to confirm or deny the authenticity of their own products.


What This Means for You as a Customer

If you receive an item from TheVoltr and have any concern about its authenticity, the right course of action is to contact us directly first. We will review your concern, assess the item, and work with you toward a resolution — which may include a full return and refund under our Refund & Return Policy.

We take every authenticity concern seriously. Our business is built on trust, and we will not compromise that for any reason.


Returns Based on Authenticity Concerns

If you genuinely believe an item you received is not authentic, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team via our Contact Us page within the return window outlined in our policy.
  2. Provide your order number and a clear description of your concern.
  3. Include photographs of the item, including tags, labels, and any details that prompted your concern.
  4. Our team will respond within 48 hours with next steps.

We stand behind every item we sell. If there is ever a legitimate problem with your order, we will make it right.


A Note on Streetwear Authentication Generally

The streetwear authentication market has grown significantly alongside the growth of resale culture. Many platforms offer paid authentication services and attach physical tags or digital certificates to items they have reviewed.

It is important to understand that these services operate independently of the brands themselves. They apply their own internal criteria, methodologies, and staff knowledge — none of which is endorsed, licensed, or validated by the brands they assess. A tag from a third-party authenticator does not represent the official position of the brand.

This does not mean these services have no value in the marketplace. But buyers should understand what these services are and what they are not — and should not treat a third-party rejection as definitive proof of inauthenticity, particularly when the item in question was purchased from a verified retailer like TheVoltr.
